The arrangement feels organic and less rigid than traditional medallion styles. A thin, solid gold-colored guard stripe neatly outlines the central field. Surrounding it is a thick primary border decorated with a continuous, undulating vine and floral pattern that mirrors the colors of the center. The central field and outermost border are a deep, variegated charcoal gray or washed black. It has subtle horizontal striations (abrash) that give the background texture and depth. The floral patterns pop with a lively mix of colors, including coral orange, dusty rose pink, sky blue, muted gold, sage green, and hints of lavender.
