This runner is a distinctive Antique Karadje from Northwest Persia, with alternating geometric medallions along a central vertical axis. The main field has a muted camel or olive-brown backdrop decorated with multiple diamond- and hex-shaped medallions. These central motifs contrast in shades of deep indigo blue, terracotta red, salmon pink, and cream. Scattered throughout the field are angular, stylized geometric shapes, small hooks, and traditional tribal devices typical of village-woven textiles. The primary field is enclosed by multiple guard borders, including a prominent inner blue frame and a wider outer terracotta-red border filled with repeating geometric rosettes and abstract geometric figures. Measurements are 2'10 " x 11'2 ".
