Hand-woven in Afghanistan, in the style of a Tribal Karadje, built on a bold, rich crimson red field, balanced by accents of deep indigo navy blue, ivory, and hints of sage green and ochre gold.The center line is adorned with a sequential series of prominent, contrasting geometric medallions. These alternate between ivory hexagonal shapes enclosing stylized starbursts and dark navy medallions featuring stepped diamond interiors. The primary field is enclosed by multiple layers of intricate geometric borders. The widest inner border uses an intersecting pattern on a navy background, while the outer guard borders feature a repeating chain of stylized geometric floral heads.
