This rug features a large, elongated hexagonal geometric medallion in the center. It has a bright blue stepped outline with a red and green interior filled with intricate tribal symbols. The primary background (field) is a deep charcoal black or dark brown. It is flanked by four smaller, matching diamond-shaped geometric medallions (two above and two below the main center piece) primarily colored in red and cream. The four corners of the inner field feature stepped, geometric spandrels in bright blue and red, framing the central canvas. A wide, elaborate primary border in deep red encloses the field, intricately decorated with repeating geometric rosettes, star motifs, and vine-like tribal patterns in green, blue, and cream. It is flanked by thinner inner and outer guard stripes.
