A traditional Akstafa or Karagashli pattern hand-woven in Afghanistan. The deep navy blue background forms a strong contrast with the vibrant geometric motifs. It features a vertical column of three large, elongated terracotta-red medallions running down the center. Each medallion is filled with geometric patterns, centering around a smaller light-blue and cream starburst or floral motif. Flanking the central medallions are highly stylized, geometric figures characteristic of the Caucasus region. These include signature crane or peacock-like bird figures with prominent angular crests and tail feathers, alongside scattered multi-colored geometric stars and small cross icons.A broad outer border set against a warm mustard yellow background, decorated with recurring diagonal saw-tooth or chevron-like shapes in red, light blue, navy, and cream. Inner framing bands featuring geometric diamond chains and small checkerboard guard borders.
