A Ziegler Mahal Persian design, hand-woven in Afghanistan. The central navy blue ground is densely filled with symmetrical, stylized motifs including large, multi-lobed palmettes, cartouches, and floral rosettes. The palette is vibrant and rich, dominated by navy blue, deep red, cream, beige, and soft steel blue. The piece is framed by a multi-layered border system. The main outer border has a cream background patterned with repeating geometric floral vine motifs, sandwiched between thin red guard borders.
