This beautiful green and gold Oushak sustained some discoloration on the reverse spine from water. The rug is completely structurally sound, and there is no damage other than aesthetic on the floor side of the rug - see photos. The spacious main body is covered in a medium slate-blue or muted teal-blue tone. It features an open, all-over pattern of curvilinear floral motifs, winding vines, and palmettes instead of a single central medallion. A thick, contrasting ivory/cream main border frames the center field. This primary border is flanked by smaller guard borders decorated with delicate scrolling vines and small geometric or floral elements. The primary colors are muted slate blue, ivory, and cream, and the accents are terracotta rust, deep burgundy red, soft gold, and tan, which outline the intricate leaf and floral arrangements
