The Pendleton® Reserve Collection represents Pendleton's historic blanket designs rendered as finely crafted handmade rugs. The rugs are hand-knotted with approximately 80 knots to the square inch using high-quality New Zealand wool. We use handspun wool which creates a delightful variegated color, giving the completed rug a richness and subtle blend of colors.
This rug combines traditional tribal inspired designs from the Hawaiian mainland with undulating waves of blue and turquoise representing the waves off the beaches near Lahaina- every surfer’s dream. The wave images are outlined in a sawtooth design that evokes the power and challenges of the surf.
